ILL YO' Au début du mois, Edison Chen, le fondateur de CLOT présentait sur les réseaux, ce qui, selon les rumeurs, doit être la dernière collaboration entre le label de Hong Kong et l’équipementier sportif américain. Une nouvelle terriblement excitante, car s’exécutant sur le modèle Dunk Low avec le programme « What The », mais aussi très triste car ce partenariat prolifique toucherait à sa fin (il semblerait d’ailleurs que la principale raison réside en un rapprochement imminent entre CLOT et la marque à 3 bandes, ndr).
En hommage aux précédentes collaborations CLOT x Nike, le duo a re-imaginé son histoire en fusionnant les divers univers qu’ils ont exploré ensembles. On retrouve donc sur cette CLOT x Nike Dunk Low « What the », la désormais mythique toe box transparente et le logo rouge sur le talon (détails de la Air Max 1), les imitations tuiles « Terracotta » (détails de la Air Jordan 13 Low), la fameux tissu « Silk Royale » (l’une des signatures textiles de CLOT), le tissu CLOT x Fragment Design (détail de la Dunk Low) ou encore les effets métallisés de la Dunk High Flux.
Les amateurs d’accessoires et de packagings d’exceptions ne seront pas en reste car en plus de la boîte qui sera spécialement désignée, les sneakers seront emballées avec un jeu exclusif de cartes à collectionner.
Quand on connaît l’histoire de CLOT, son impact en Asie et dans le monde, ce dernier produit a été pensé respectueusement comme un dernier hommage afin d’offrir aux fans des deux marques, le plus beau des cadeaux de départ.

At the beginning of the month, CLOT founder Edison Chen presented what is rumoured to be the last collaboration between the Hong Kong label and the American sports equipment manufacturer. This was terribly exciting news, as it involved the Dunk Low model with the « What The » program, but also very sad, as this prolific partnership was coming to an end (it would appear that the main reason for this is the imminent rapprochement between CLOT and the 3-stripes brand).
In homage to previous CLOT x Nike collaborations, the duo re-imagined their story by fusing the various universes they explored together. The CLOT x Nike Dunk Low « What the » features the now mythical transparent toe box and red logo on the heel (details of the Air Max 1), the imitation « Terracotta » tiles (details of the Air Jordan 13 Low), the famous « Silk Royale » fabric (one of CLOT‘s textile signatures), the CLOT x Fragment Design fabric (details of the Dunk Low) and the metallic effects of the Dunk High Flux.
Fans of accessories and exceptional packaging will not be left out, as in addition to the specially-designed box, the sneakers will be packaged with an exclusive set of trading cards.
When you consider CLOT‘s history and its impact in Asia and around the world, this latest product has been respectfully conceived as a final tribute to offer fans of both brands the ultimate parting gift.
